Tenet

a principle or belief, especially one of the main principle beliefs of a religion or philosophy.

The foremost tenet of I John is that we receive eternal life through belief in Christ Jesus.
One of my supercilious tenets is a whole-scale rejection of "Greatest Hits Collections".
I don't know any tenets of Aristotle's writings.  Do you?
Meredith isn't a ninet.  She's a perfect tenet!

  1. To make up for the HUGE delay...
I don't know any of Aristotle's tenets, but I am a fan of Plato's "The Allegory of the Cave."
One of my firm tenets is that I have to sleep, or else I get grouchy...
Jesus is the main tenet of Christianity.
One of tennis's main tenets is getting the ball over the net.
The tenant's main tenet was clean sheets.
Tentatively, Meredith's tenet was to write papers ahead of time and go to bed early.
Tim's other tenet is that the Neverending Story is good.
Meredith likes Tim, so she usually likes Tim's tenets.
The tenet behind the Tabernacle (or the tent) was that God was with the Isrealites.
