    Felix was pertinacious in not submitting to Christ.
    Meredith was not pertinacious in waking up to her alarm this morning.
    Tim is pertinaciously against mixes, compilations, or greatest hits albums, unless it is one he made himself.
    We will see how pertinaciously Dan follows the Vocab Club blog after he realizes how ridiculous it is.
